This is the once a year public celebration and feast of the Dead and of Papa Ghede, and all the Ghedes.
The colors to wear are all white with purple and black.
The items to bring are offerings for Papa in the form of Rum, cigars, spicy food, chocolate and candy, etc..
Bring offerings for Legba.
Bring offerings for your ancestors.
Bring offerings for your personal Loa.
Bring creole dish to share with congregation.
Tent space is available on land. This is a "non-children" event and serious participants (encouraged) or observers only. Contact us if you'd like to attend and this is your first time for information on what to expect.
Other Ritual information will be forthcoming. If you regularly attend these events, or are a practicing Vodouist, the cost is donation. Please remember to bring offerings for the Temple, preferably monetary ones. Our hosts work very hard and spend alot of money out of pocket to bring you this event.
